Experience: 1-10 years of experience in systems analysis or engineering, with a focus on MBSE in the marine sector or related industries.Location Requirement: Candidates should either be South African residents currently living in the Netherlands or South Africans willing to relocate to the Netherlands.Fluency in Afrikaans (both written and spoken).Beneficial requirements:Technical Skills: Proficiency in MBSE tools such as SysML, MATLAB/Simulink, and other related simulation software.
Experience with marine systems design and integration is highly desirable.Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate complex systems and identify opportunities for improvement.Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Duties and responsibilities:Systems Modelling and Analysis: Develop, maintain, and optimize system models using MBSE tools, ensuring that they accurately represent the operational and functional requirements of marine systems.Requirement Definition and Management: Work closely with stakeholders to define and manage system requirements, ensuring that all requirements are captured, traceable, and met throughout the lifecycle of the project.Integration of Subsystems: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate subsystems, ensuring compatibility and performance meet the design specifications for marine systems.Simulation and Verification: Perform simulations and analysis on system models to verify the functionality, safety, and performance of marine systems.Documentation and Reporting: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation on system models, design decisions, and analysis results.
