Business Segment: Insurance & Asset ManagementLocation: ZA, GP, Roodepoort, Ellis Street 4To apply computer science theories and principles to create and refactor moderate to complex programs/scripts and integration software services. To design complex specifications, code, test, debug, enhance programs within the Continuous Delivery pipelines, and provide support and maintenance of systems and programs. Execute software developer responsibilities according to engineering practices, standards, frameworks, roadmaps, and the architects' application standards. Participate in reviews of colleagues' work.QualificationsMinimum QualificationsType of Qualification: First DegreeField of Study: Information TechnologyExperience RequiredSoftware Engineering:5-7 years: Broad experience in translating business and functional requirements into technical specifications and developing the programming code to create the solutions.8-10 years: Proven experience in modern engineering practices (i.e., DevOps, Agile, etc.). Proven experience across multiple IT Engineering disciplines, with demonstrated specialization in at least one. Experience within the required scope of expertise.
