This role involves conducting design reviews with specialist teams to validate system integrity, leading project execution, and maintaining high standards through rigorous quality audits. The engineer will take charge of project coordination, manage technical resources, and drive innovation while upholding industry best practices and safety regulations.Primary ResponsibilitiesReport to the Senior Project Manager.Take ownership of the Electrical, Control and Instrumentation engineering design.Ensuring Health and Safety standards are incorporated into the design.Ensure compliance to the construction regulations for all on-site contractors.Liaise with the design contractors to ensure technical compliance.Assist with and develop scope of works for electrical, control and instrumentation works.Liaise with the site supervisors to ensure electrical work integrity and adherence to specifications and required QA/QC checks and verification.Technical problem-solving during the construction phase and planning phases.Oversee plant commissioning.Compile and communicate project performance reports.Participate in risk assessment and root cause analysis processes. Qualifications & ExperienceB Eng, BSc (Eng) degree or B Tech. (Electrical Engineering) Computer literate - MS Office and MS Projects.ECSA Professional Registration (Advantage)Minimum 5 years' experience in Electrical Engineering design and constructionMinimum 3 years' experience Project Management and supervisionKnowledge & SkillsFluent in English.Code B driver's license.Experience in a mining or similar environment.
