Electrical Engineer - Energy ConsultantTop multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy is looking for an Electrical Engineer to join their Energy Division as an Energy Consultant.You will be involved in the growth of the energy team with a particular focus on electrical engineering aspects of projects, as well as business development and project management support for PV, wind, battery storage, green hydrogen, and mini/micro grid projects.Desired Experience & QualificationBEng. or BSc. Eng. in Electrical Engineering (preferably with a further qualification in renewable energy)4 - 6 years relevant experienceDesign experience in renewable energy projectsWriting technical reports and presentations, compiling design drawings and presentationsPreparation of bids and proposals and support Senior Engineers in winning workThe focus will be on grid-connections and large project context, structure and role players is importantFinancial acumen with respect to energy projects and project finance will be a bonusProject management support to the lead Project Manager for the delivery of lenders' technical advisory, owner's engineer, and design services within the renewable energy sectorPackage & RemunerationR 480,000 - R 550,000.00 CTC
