We are now looking for an End-to-End Manager to be based in Estcourt Factory.In this role you will be responsible to ensure efficient operation of the production process in terms of administration, planning control, best safety practices, quality, PSA stock management, SAP data accuracies, and people management.A day in the life of an End-to-End Manager:Safety, Quality, and ComplianceDrive the safety culture and conditions for a safe working environment with the team leader.Logging and tags, FMF, PJO, and LOTO application.Adherence to NGMP and 5S.Lead the RCA, GEMBA, GSTD initiatives and implementation of preventative actions.Ensure compliance to applicable Nestle standards and guidelines.Attend the daily sensory evaluation.Manage Process OrdersAssist with orders from Stores & Replenish (stage for) raw and packaging materials.Verify the capture DMO/downtime, run time and all stoppages.Ensure the capture of the daily consumption of raw and packaging materials against the correct process order.Ensure accurate capture of daily output and labelling of finished products.Supervise closing off PI sheets daily with 100% accuracy.Supervise TECO process orders after all checks and balances are in place for daily reconciliation.
(Check MUV, per PO and work with team leaders to investigate losses on PO).Train end users to do daily capturing and assist in any problems.Financial Control and Stock ManagementPerform daily stock check and ensure that SAP system stock and physical stock matches (material number, Quantity, Batch Number, and SSC Label).
Differences in theoretical and actual stock must be reconciled immediately prior to process and end.Responsible for training the operators on the methodology including competence assessment.Maintain a system controlling movement of materials between production and Warehouse departments.
(FERTs, ROH, ZPCK).Weekly and monthly stock counting of PSA.Monthly stock verification with management accounting department.Participate in variance meetings with costing department.Control variances (labour and material) and implementation of appropriate action.ReworkSupervise the control and consumptions of rework, including the management and monitoring of SLED.Ensure that daily stock checks are performed and that SAP system stock and physical stock matches (Material number, Quantity, and SSC Label).Supervise the use of rework into the product (ensure FEFO applies).Train end users in Rework Management according to T&P.PeopleSupport the implementation of TPM focusing on People Transformation and Workplace transformation in line with TPM Requirements.Create the platform to facilitate competence building within the production department making use of competence matrix and CBPs.Manage Production effectively through operational reviews (SHO, SOR, DOR) and use Standard Routines (SDCA) to ensure sustainable results.Use Basic Problem-Solving tools and knowledge sharing (OPLs) to drive continuous improvements.What will make you successful?Diploma/Degree/Btech in: Food Technology, Production management or Engineering or equivalent experienceMin 5 to 7 years engineering experience.Min 3 years' experience in Production.Demonstration of leadership ability by leading a project within a factory environment.Good attitude to work and ability to interact with people.Demonstration of Leadership skills in positively confronting inappropriate behaviour and using everyday coaching to ensure involvement of the workforce.Formal knowledge of Factory end-to-end processes.Experience with SAP.
