Head of RA - Midrand - Emporium Human CapitalSalary Range: R 1,700,000 - R 1,800,000 per annum
Purpose and ScopeThe Head of Regulatory Affairs is responsible for overseeing the regulatory activities of the OTC division, developing a comprehensive regulatory strategy to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
The role requires leading and managing a team, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and maintaining effective relationships with regulatory authorities and stakeholders.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelops and implements a fully integrated regulatory strategy to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.Oversights the Group Stability Department ensuring adherence to applicable regulations and company procedures.Represents RA at operational meetings enhancing operational efficiency.Maintains current knowledge of relevant Acts, Regulations, and Guidelines pertaining to the pharmaceutical industry.Establishes and maintains effective relationships with Regulatory Authorities and internal and external stakeholders.RequirementsTo be successful in this role you will require:
A B. Pharm degree and registration with the South African Pharmacy Council.A minimum of 8 years of pharmaceutical regulatory experience including 5 years in people or team management.Demonstrated experience across the product development, commercialization, and dossier maintenance lifecycle.What We OfferWe offer a competitive salary range of R 1,700,000 - R 1,800,000 per annum, a dynamic work environment, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
