Head of Regulatory Affairs (OTC Division)Location: Midrand, South Africa
Salary Range: R 1,700,000 - R 1,800,000 per annum
Purpose and ScopeThe Head of Regulatory Affairs is responsible for overseeing the regulatory activities of the OTC division and developing a comprehensive regulatory strategy to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
The role requires the ability to lead and manage a team, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and maintain effective relationships with regulatory authorities and stakeholders.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement a fully integrated regulatory strategy to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulationsOversight of the Group Stability Department to ensure adherence to applicable regulations and company proceduresRepresent RA at operational meetings to enhance operational efficiencyManage regulatory and compliance aspects of project launches, including acquisitions and mergers, as well as technical transfer projectsMaintain current knowledge of relevant Acts, Regulations, and Guidelines pertaining to the pharmaceutical industryEstablish and maintain effective relationships with Regulatory Authorities, internal and external stakeholdersRequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will require:
A B. Pharm degree and registration with the South African Pharmacy CouncilA minimum of 8 years of pharmaceutical regulatory experience, including 5 years in people or team managementDemonstrated experience across the product development, commercialization, and dossier maintenance lifecycleWhat We OfferWe offer a competitive salary range of R 1,700,000 - R 1,800,000 per annum, a dynamic work environment, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
