Provides advisement and training to supervisors in discipline and discharge cases.Manages the grievance procedure outlined in the collective bargaining agreements, ordinances and policies; and advises City Management on same.Meets with Management/Labor to narrow contentious issues, researches, and offers solutions.Receives employee relations complaints and reports, researches and conducts necessary investigations, secures appropriate documentation, and makes recommendations to resolve the complaints based on findings.Assists City management and employees with performance appraisal programs.Consults with departments on programs to improve the quality of effective supervisory practices.Please review the full job description by clicking on the link below.
