Our client is a leading consulting firm specializing in employee benefits, committed to delivering tailored solutions and exceptional service to our clients. Our client is dedicated to helping organizations navigate the complexities of employee benefits, ensuring optimal outcomes for both employers and employees.This role involves providing comprehensive support within the Employee Benefits Consulting team. You will be responsible for managing disability and severe illness claims, handling medical underwriting, and assisting with various administrative tasks. Key Responsibilities:The below represent a broader overview of the position and will be discussed in more detail in interview stageDisability and Severe Illness Claims: Notify insurers, obtain documentation, submit claims, and manage follow-ups, ensuring seamless communication with consultants, members, insurers, and employers.Loss of License Claims: Handle notifications, documentation, submissions, and follow-ups, including managing review requirements and benefit category changes.Medical Underwriting: Assist members with medical bookings, payments, and documentation, update system information, and monitor underwriting decisions.Proposals and Installations: Draft new business proposals, set up workflows, and manage client installations.Section 14 Documentation: Prepare documents, liaise with funds, and track payments for regulatory compliance.Risk Rebroking and Renewals: Conduct risk rebrokes, prepare summaries, manage renewals, and update systems.Member Services: Prepare and distribute benefit statements, draft member guides, and manage monthly claims reports.Website Maintenance: Assist with maintaining and updating the employee benefits website and manage member access credentials.General Administrative Support: Supervise pack preparation, manage home loan schedules, and handle other related duties as needed.Personal Attributes:Ability to work independently and proactively.Excellent time management and organizational skills.Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.Professional demeanor, friendly, and helpful.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to cope well under pressure and meet deadlinesSkills and Experience Required:Matric with Higher Grade Math's (minimum C symbol).Minimum of 5 years working in a similar environment.Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel Advanced, PowerPoint, Outlook).Working Hours: 08:00 - 17:00Occasional overtime may be required.Remuneration: R24 000 - R28 000 Cost to Company*** Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted ***
