Background on the Transformation Centre of ExcellenceThe EMEA Transformation Centre of Excellence was developed to support all 38 EMEA markets with the roll-out of a standardized operating model built off the back of work that started in the APAC region.
This includes the standardization of applications across the region, through custom built solutions for media, media finance and core finance.
The systems are built off standardized processes owned by the Regional Process Owners (RPOs) across four functions: Digital Media, Traditional Media, Media Finance and Core Finance.
The people aspects of the transformation are owned by the Business Transformation pillar which looks to develop the overall operating model through the development of the organization structure, business case, governance and change management blueprint.
The final pillar aims to achieve efficiency through Robotics Process Automation, leveraging RPA tools to automate manual work.Roles and Responsibilities• Reports to the Regional Centre of Excellence Lead – GroupM EMEA• Plan for and manage dynamic deadlines• Simplify complex concepts into structured descriptions (e.g., methodology and approaches)• Gather and analyze activity analysis data• Derive insights from the data to support meaningful conversations with the markets to proactively manage risks and awareness• Understand business impact (cause and effect)• Develop and maintain a high-level business case• Develop team structures and sizing aligned to specific market nuances• Assess the impact of and present on workforce transition• Develop change and communications plans• Develop a governance framework to support changes in the market• Create implementation plans for markets to go live with systems, processes, and people• Create market-specific operating model training• Prepare clear, fit-for-purpose reports on the changes, tailoring presentations for varying levels of engagement within the market• Build good relations with market operational and project management teams• Work across streams in CoE to create fully integrated deliverables• Engage with EMEA level leadership to unpack guidelines and translate them into deliverables for markets.Capabilities• 5-7 years of team and project experience, with a track record of continuous improvement and partnering in a multinational environment• Previous experience in process mapping (Six Sigma is beneficial)• Exposure to the media & advertising industry is beneficial, preferably in a media agency environment• Good understanding of end-to-end process operations (beneficial: IT environment and process customization in markets)• Strong stakeholder management skills with demonstrated ability to work with diverse nationalities, cultural backgrounds, and conventions in EMEA• Understanding of how to operate and deliver change within varied cultural environments in the EMEA region• Ability to work autonomously and integrate into a team to reprioritize deliverables• Deadline-oriented• Stakeholder and quality-oriented• Ability to work independently and systematically• Flexibility and ability to work under pressure• Excellent communication skills• Business fluent in English• Ability to leverage past experience in a meaningful way• Strong data analysis skills• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
