Job Overview: The ideal candidate will develop and execute email marketing campaigns that engage, inform, and delight our customers. This role requires creativity, analytical skills, and technical expertise to drive our email marketing efforts and support our overall business goals.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute email marketing campaigns, including newsletters, promotional offers, product announcements, and other customer communications. Manage the end-to-end email campaign process, from planning and segmentation to execution and analysis.Create compelling and engaging email content that aligns with our brand voice and messaging.Design or supervise the design of visually appealing email templates using HTML and email marketing tools.Segment email lists based on customer behavior, preferences, and demographics to deliver targeted and personalized content.Monitor and analyze email campaign performance metrics (open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, etc.) to optimize future campaigns.Conduct A/B testing to improve email performance and user engagement.Ensure all email communications comply with industry regulations and best practices, including CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and other relevant guidelines.Collaborate with the marketing team, graphic designers, and copywriters to create cohesive and effective marketing campaigns.Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in email and digital marketing. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.Proven experience in email marketing, preferably in a direct-to-consumer (DTC) environment.Proficiency with KlaviyoStrong understanding of HTML/CSS for email template design.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and engaging audiences.Knowledge of email marketing best practices, industry trends, and regulations.Experience with A/B testing and data analysis tools (e.g., Google Analytics) is a plus.Passion for animal communication and understanding of the pet industry is a plus.
