Electronic Cad / Cable Harness Technician

KEY RESPONSIBILITIESCreating and maintaining component footprints and libraries accurately on ALTIUM, adhering to IPC standards and Milkor Standards.Creating Loom Libraries in Capital Essentials harness schematics and harness drawings with Bill Of Materials.
Working to configuration control and update component library and upload completed projects.Calculation of MTBF of electronic hardware designs.QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCENational Higher Diploma or National Diploma in Electronic Engineering, or equivalent or, PCB CAD Training certification with a background in electronics.Proficiency in PCB CAD Packages, with experience in ALTIUM preferred.IPC J standards for PCB Layout and Design.IPC-WHMA-A-620 harness manufacturing standards.Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Experience with ALTIUM and Capital Essentials is highly beneficial.Meticulous to documents and process control.CONSENT:By submitting your information and application you hereby confirm:That you have no objection to us retaining your personal information in our database for future matching/ POPI Policy.That the information you have provided to us is true, correct, and up to date.PLEASE NOTE: Correspondence will only be conducted with shortlisted candidates.
