Electronic Automation Technician

Work with electronic systems like fiber optics, IP networks, databases, and machine software Troubleshoot PLC systems (no programming needed) to keep machines running smoothly Take care of wiring, setting up, and fine-tuning machines Knowing how to work with weighing systems is a big plus Provide technical support, train customers on how to use the systems, and offer help after the sale Take charge of tasks, make quick decisions, and solve problems on-site independently Be proactive in keeping machines and systems running smoothly Communicate technical info clearly to both customers and colleagues in Afrikaans (non-negotiable) Skills & Experience: Must be Afrikaans speaking.
This is a non-negotiable Strong IT knowledge and experience with electronic technology Ability to calibrate machines PLC Siemens, Rockwell, Schneider, ABB, Honeywell, or any of the mainstream PLCs Qualification: Diploma or Degree in Electrical and/or Electronic Engineering Valid drivers license Valid passport (as you will need to be able to travel internationally) Contact SHAWN VELDTMAN on
