Electromagnetic Solution Verification Engineer

Job Summary: The Solution Verification Engineer will join our Program Management team and assist in evaluating and implementing functionalities and solutions to address electromagnetic simulation, propagation modelling, and network planning applications in Altair HyperWorks. The primary function will be to thoroughly evaluate and validate solutions based on realistic use cases identified in collaboration with the Altair technical support teams and customers, to verify correctness/user-friendliness/performance. This verification will happen in close collaboration with the development teams and the Altair Quality Assurance Center of Excellence. A secondary responsibility will be to contribute towards the specification and planning of improvements and extensions to Altair's electromagnetics solutions in collaboration with the Program Management team and other subject experts.

What You Will Do: Gather and prepare realistic use cases for solution verification in collaboration with technical support and program management staff. Verify functional areas of Altair electromagnetics solutions during the development process, to identify, prioritize, and communicate applicability. Validate outcomes of new implementations in collaboration with the Altair Quality Assurance Center of Excellence. Assist the Program Management teams in preparing specifications and documenting solutions. What You Will Need: Basics: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. Completed Electromagnetics / high-frequency techniques coursework. Experience in practical electromagnetics applications and simulation. Able to work with little supervision and be a team player. Excellent communication skills and fluent in English. Preferred: Knowledge and experience with a scripting language such as Python. Experience with Feko. Higher degree (Masters or Ph.D) with a strong focus in Electromagnetics. An interest in technical software usability and development. How You Will Be Successful: Envision the Future.
