Electrician (Unqualified)

The Electrician is responsible for performance preventative maintenance, repairs and installations of electrical systems including household and commercial electrical systems, solar panels and battery back-up systems. The role requires a high degree of technical expertise, as well as a commitment to working efficiently and effectively to ensure that the electrical systems are maintained to the highest standard Minimum requirements: Minimum 2 years working experience, ideally in a similar role with proven track record of electrical system maintenance and repair Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems including AC and DC systems, inverters, and battery back up systems Own transport with valid driver's license Excellent English and Afrikaans language skills (read, write, speak) Able to work flexible hours: Monday to Friday and 2 weekends a month standby Skills required: Ability to prioritise own workload and work with minimum supervision Organised and deadline driven with the ability to multitask Energetic and enthusiastic with the ability to learn quickly Good problem solving and troubleshooting Manage pressure and stress easily Good time management Committed and reliable Salary : R16 000 to R25 000 negotiable depending on experience and qualifications IMPORTANT: Applications close 30 January 2025 Only applications submitted via the Ditto Jobs platform will be considered Only candidates who meet our client's minimum requirements will be contacted
