Detail: Our Client installs, manages and services Diesel Generators and Solar Power equipment throughout Cape Town and is seeking to appoint an additional Electrician to handle Electrical fault finding and installations as well as maintenance on Generators and Solar Power project installations.Requirements:An Electrical Trade certificate is essentialWireman's licence is essential5+ years experience working on electrical installations on residential and commercial buildingsGenerators and Solar backup experience will be an advantageMust have a driver's licenceResponsibilities:You will be travelling throughout Cape Town to conduct solar PV installations. Your tasks will consist of:Wiring for solar PV and invertersPanel stringingBattery connectionSetting up inverter parametersSometimes you might be requested to do site visits if the site engineer is detained at another site. You will be working with the installation teams to ensure the project planning, assembly, installation, and testing runs smoothly. You will be responsible for signing off on projects, therefore a wireman's license (single and 3-phase) would be advantageous to qualify for this position. CoC's will be issued by a Senior who will be responsible for checking the work that you have done.
