Location:Mobeni, DurbanRequirements:Trade Tested Electrician (Red Seal)Wiremans license will be an added advantageMinimum of 5 years of experienceFamiliarity with electrical codes, regulations, and safety standardsExcellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Strong attention to detail and precision in workmanship.Good communication and interpersonal skills.Root cause analysisAble to read electrical drawingAble to work independentlyWillingness to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and overtime as neededResponsibilities:Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems, machinery, and equipment in compliance with electrical codes and safety standards.Conduct preventative maintenance routines to ensure longevity and efficient operations of electrical systems.Troubleshoot electrical issues using testing devices and diagnostic equipment.Regularly inspect electrical systems, circuits, and equipment to identify potential hazards or malfunctions.Report any electrical problems, safety concerns, or potential risks to the Maintenance Manager or relevant personnel.Adhere to all safety protocols, procedures, and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal electrical codes and regulations.Collaborate with other maintenance staff, engineers, and production personnel to ensure seamless operations.Respond promptly to electrical emergencies and breakdowns to minimize downtime and ensure the safety of personnel and equipment.
