Description of Equipment/System:
SSASS stations (Camera Poles)
Electrical installation
Electric fence
Solar system installation
Safety compliance
Electrical Scope Role & Responsibilities (Project Installation):

Single phase electrical cable tapping from HV line to electrical DB on the pole
Single phase electrical installation supply to the power inverter
Knowledge of single phase distribution box wiring
Knowledge of all electric fences installation and maintenance
Sound knowledge of pepper sprays installation and maintenance
Good knowledge of the following solar system equipment:

Lithium batteries (indoor installation)
Solar inverters (indoor installation)
Solar panels (rooftop installation)

Full understanding of power redundancy system
Sound knowledge of backup of a backup
Verification of COC drawings & certificates
Good knowledge and installation of HV transmission line
Good knowledge and installation of transformers and AVRs
Earthing knowledge and wiring of enclosures and poles
Ensure that electrical contractors adhere to the scope of work
Adhere to instructions issued to you by your supervisor/manager

Electrical Roles & Responsibilities (Maintenance):

Maintenance schedules as planned
Daily maintenance duties
Emergency duties
Call outs
Standby duties
Make sure that you execute all the above-mentioned tasks and instructions issued to you by your supervisor/manager

Health and Safety Standards:

Compile to the health and safety Act 85 of 1993
Correct PPE for the right job
Always use the right tool for the right job
No alcohol drinking on site/office/workshop
Use designated smoking areas to smoke
No one reports to duty intoxicated (alcohol testing is required)
Horseplay is prohibited
All workers must practice safe housekeeping at all times
All workers to report to duty on time

Education:

Diploma (Preferred)

Experience:

Electrician: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

Drivers license (Preferred)
