Electrician-Fmcg

Masa Outsourcing is currently looking for Trade tested/ qualified Electrician with an FMCG background /experience.
For one of our client based in Isipingo.
Key Responsibilities Perform routine electrical maintenance and repair work on FMCG production equipment, including conveyors, packaging machines, and automated systems.
Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical faults on various machinery and plant equipment.
Ensure timely response to breakdowns to minimize downtime and maintain continuous production.
Collaborate with other engineering teams to implement preventative maintenance schedules.
Install, test, and commission new electrical equipment and systems in compliance with company standards and health & safety regulations.
Update maintenance logs and prepare reports on equipment performance and maintenance activities.
Ensure compliance with all electrical safety standards and relevant regulations.
Provide input and support for continuous improvement initiatives, including energy savings and process optimization.
Participate in risk assessments and health & safety reviews related to electrical systems.
Experience : 3 - 5 years of experience in an FMCG environment, with a strong focus on production and packaging machinery.
Solid experience in troubleshooting and repairing complex automated systems and PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers).
Experience with high-speed machinery in a fast-paced environment.
