Electrical Project Engineer

We have an amazing opportunity for an Electrical Project Engineer based in South Africa Industry: Renewable Energy / Construction Level: Senior Key Responsibilities: · Engineering Design and Quality · Contribute to design, scoping, and Requests for Proposals. · Ensure electrical works meet quality standards and specifications. · Perform site inspections, oversee testing and remediation, and manage contractor performance. · Support handover and commissioning processes; manage asset performance and condition monitoring. · Implement and manage project contracts, handle claims and variations, and monitor financial data. · Ensure compliance with company policies and provide project reports. Education & Experience: · BSc or B.Eng in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. · 7 years in large-scale construction projects, preferably in renewable energy. · Knowledge of South African Grid Code and experience with Wind/Solar/BESS farms is advantageous. Personal Attributes: · Enthusiastic about renewable energy. · Flexible with travel and working arrangements. · High ethical standards and proactive problem-solving. · Self-motivated, team-oriented, and detail-focused.
