Key Performance Output The successful candidates will be reporting to the Senior Manager: Site Maintenance & Engineering and will be responsible but not limited to the following: Life cycle planning of assets. Achieve high level of availability, reliability and operation of infrastructure/assets with minimum cost to contribute to business sustainability and profitability. Adhere to relevant statutory/legislative regulations, SOP's, operational standards, policies and practices. Ensure that maintenance contracts are aligned to ACSA requirement to comply to stakeholder and related legislative requirements to ensure continuous operations. Identify and apply viable technology and strategies to improve equipment efficiencies and lifestyle costing. Keep current with latest equipment, technologies and maintenance methods to ensure best practice Ensure ACSA maintenance contracts are in place. Manage overall governance and provide input into contract specifications. Compile, manage and account for relevant budgets according to business requirements and specifications. Manage stock levels according to minimum quantities advised and order when necessary. Perform quality inspection on maintenance work done and implement/propose remedial action where necessary. Diagnose break down problems and conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective action. Manage maintenance CAPEX projects in line with set standards. Provide technical support and design review and quality management on projects. Perform quality inspections throughout project. Perform feasibility studies to determine project feasibility. Compile technical specification/ scoping for tender document. Compile project documentation in order to apply for CAPEX. Compile reports on infrastructure and maintenance key performance indicators and ensure proactive action are implemented when needed. Coordinate and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders with regards to impact of project activities. Engage with internal stakeholders to understand project needs. Responsible for maintenance and system management with regards to infrastructure. Plan, schedule and supervise / co-ordinate subordinate activities within processes or services to achieve efficiency and quality goals.
Technical Skills and Experience The following skills and experience or the equivalent of such will be required: Bachelor's degree in engineering/Bsc/Mechanical/ Electrical/ Civil (4 Years – 480 Credits). 6 years operational experience in Engineering Maintenance/Facility management. Contract Management Understanding of Sound Engineering Principles Knowledge of Relevant legislations Project Management Skills MS Office Code 8 Driver's license Sound understanding of Engineering Principles Knowledge of IATA requirements
