A dynamic engineering company based in Centurion is looking for a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in electrical systems, control, and instrumentation. We are looking for someone who can take ownership of electrical projects, ensuring they are executed according to international standards and within scope. Key Responsibilities: Oversee project execution and develop electrical and control system designs for EPC and EPCM projects. Collaborate with Process and Electrical departments for equipment sizing and system alignment. Ensure compliance with international engineering standards, codes, and practices. Prepare, review, and coordinate electrical and control system documentation. Provide technical guidance and leadership on instrumentation and control system designs. Participate in design meetings, review supplier documentation, and conduct site inspections. Assist with plant installation, commissioning, and addressing technical queries. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar relevant degree. Registration with ECSA as a Professional or Candidate Engineer would be advantageous. Experience with electrical control, instrumentation, and programming. 3-5 years of experience overseeing project execution. Proficiency in multidisciplinary areas, including electrical control and programming. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to mentor colleagues. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. A hands-on approach with the ability to handle technical queries and collaborate with various teams. Preferred Skills: Experience in instrumentation and control engineering, specifically within industrial processes. Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary environment. Strong project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
