Electrical Engineering Manager - Mining

Hire Resolve's client is actively seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Manager to join their mining company based in Gauteng.
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to lead and oversee electrical engineering operations within the mining sector, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and safety in all electrical systems and processes.
Responsibilities Lead and manage the electrical engineering team, providing mentorship and guidance to ensure high performance and professional development.
Develop and implement electrical engineering strategies, policies, and best practices to enhance operational effectiveness.
Oversee the design and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment used in mining operations.
Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards within all electrical engineering activities.
Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to meet operational goals.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize electrical systems and processes.
Provide technical expertise and support for troubleshooting and problem resolution.
Prepare and present reports on electrical engineering performance and improvement initiatives.
Requirements Grade 12 Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering GCC Mines&Works (Electrical) Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
10 years' post GCC experience.
10 years' heavy electrical experience within the mining industry.
Project Management experience.
Professional registration as a Pr.
Eng or Pr.
Tech Eng preferred.
