Electrical Engineer - Renewable Energy

Hire Resolve is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer or Mechatronics Engineer to join our renewable energy client's team in Cape Town.In this role, you'll design, develop, and implement electrical systems for renewable energy projects. You'll work closely with a team of engineers and professionals to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Additionally, you'll have the chance to mentor and guide junior engineers.If you're a motivated Electrical Engineer passionate about renewable energy and looking for a rewarding career, we'd love to hear from you!ResponsibilitiesPlan and schedule projectsDesign and implement electrical systemsIntegrate renewable energy technologiesEnsure compliance with industry standards and regulationsCollaborate with cross-functional teams and project managersConduct technical evaluations and feasibility studiesTroubleshoot and resolve electrical issuesProvide support throughout the project lifecycleStay updated on industry trends and new technologiesContribute to continuous improvement effortsRequirementsMinimum Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering2-5 years' experienceProven experience in electrical engineering projectsProficiency in relevant software and toolsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and teamwork abilitiesKnowledge of industry standards and regulationsAdditional Desired Skills:Experience in renewable energy projectsFamiliarity with PV Plant Engineering DesignKnowledge of mechatronics principlesUnderstanding of SANS-10142-1Project management skillsStrong organizational and time-management abilitiesBenefitsSalary: R450K-R650K per year.
