Electrical Engineer - Mining

Hire Resolve's client is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer with experience in the mining industry to join their team in the Northern Cape, South Africa.
As an Electrical Engineer in the mining industry, you will be responsible for overseeing electrical design, maintenance, and troubleshooting of mining equipment and systems.
Responsibilities Design and update electrical systems for mining equipment and facilities Manage and maintain electrical infrastructure in mining operations Perform inspections and troubleshoot electrical issues Ensure compliance with safety regulations and mining standards Collaborate with mining engineers and other professionals on projects and initiatives Provide technical support and training to maintenance and operations teams Participate in risk assessments and safety audits Keep up-to-date with advancements in electrical technology and mining industry trends Requirements Grade 12 National Diploma/Degree in Engineering (Electrical) GCC (Mines&Works) - Electrical 8 years' experience as an Electrical Engineer/Plant Engineer in the mining industry.
Experience in Plant environment is essential.
