We are currently seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team in Port Elizabeth. Qualifications and Experience: National Diploma/degree in Electrical or relevant Engineering qualification Knowledge of programming software such as PLCs, robotics, HMI, and automation Proactive attitude with the ability to take initiative. More than 5 years of working experience in paint shop/body shop/assembly electrical equipment management in automotive main plant or independent experience in electrical installation and commissioning of automatic production line equipment Familiarity with various sensors, relay control circuits, frequency converters, electrical drawings, etc. Solid professional electronic knowledge, electrical operation, and maintenance knowledge Familiarity with programming software such as PLC, HMI, and industrial robot Duties and Responsibilities: Installation and commissioning of electrical equipment, PLC\HMI programming, and programming of industrial robots Maintenance analysis of electrical-related equipment, including fault analysis and resolution, measures, improvement countermeasures, etc. Development of maintenance plans for electrical equipment, conducting daily inspections, regular maintenance, and developing technical documents such as safety operating procedures and operating instructions Management of electrical spare parts inventory and ensuring a safe stock of electrical spare parts Review of electrical design drawings and filing of technical data Ensuring construction quality and compliance with government regulations Identifying problems, snag lists, and ensuring quality snag close-out Responsible for the health and safety of subordinates and safety compliance of equipment Development of risk assessments for Paint shop equipment Training of production and new maintenance staff on all Paint shop production line risks and safe operation If you are a highly motivated individual with the skills and experience required for this position, we encourage you to apply by sending your resume and cover letter to ******.
