They are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with GCC to oversee and coordinate all engineering activities within the mining section/plant.
Key Responsibilities: Manage and coordinate all electrical engineering activities as per the assigned section/plant.
Ensure compliance with statutory and legal requirements, including: Legal responsibility appointment.
Development and implementation of tactical strategies.
Budget and cost control.
Implementation of change initiatives.
Optimization of electrical systems and processes.
Effective stakeholder relations Management of sectional/functional services and organizational structure.
Contractor management.
Oversight of electrical workshop facilities.
Support functions and engineering operations processes and systems.
Management of capital projects and expansions.
People management.
Adherence to SHERQ (Safety, Health, Environment, Risk, and Quality) standards and compliance within own area of work.
Qualifications and Experience: Essential: Degree (NQF Level 7) in Electrical Engineering.
Postgraduate qualification (MBA, MBL, MDP, ARM Management, or equivalent).
Government Certificate of Competence (GCC) in Electrical Engineering.
Minimum of five (5) years of operational engineering and production experience within a mining and plant environment.
Minimum of two (2) years of management experience with GCC in a plant area.

Expertise in budget and cost control.
Effective in driving change initiatives and process optimization.
Knowledgeable in contractor management and electrical workshop operations.
