POSITION: ELECTRICAL ENGINEER (PrEng/PrTechEng) - DURBANOur client''s services include engineering, project management, quantity surveying, environmental consulting, management consulting and town planning. The company is looking for a vibrant and dynamic young individual to join their electrical engineering team.Job Description:Electrical Engineer with a background in Industrial and infrastructure projects in the private and government sectors to join our team based out of Durban, overseeing various projects in South Africa.Requirements:Electrical Engineering BEng/BSC Degree or BTech qualification7-10 years previous electrical engineering experience in Industrial and infrastructure projects in the private and government sectors. Proven track recordECSA registered as a Professional Engineer or TechnologistGreenfields and brownfields plant design and construction experienceBe able to work and embrace team culture with fellow peers across the various divisions.Provide mentorship to students and graduatesDigSilent/ETAP Loadflow/Fault Study Modelling would be advantageousResponsibilities:Perform and oversee Electrical engineering activities for various industrial projects in the private and government sectors to safely deliver on all company operational plans during the project execution phase;Engineering design in accordance with established standards and codes of practice;Reviewing technical documentation and defining electrical engineering requirements;Carrying out technical evaluations, preparation of specifications for electrical infrastructure and installations;Carry out feasibility and electrical power system studies;Attend factory acceptance tests and provide input to vendors test documentation.Manage and assist with plant electrical equipment and system installation and commissioning;Accountability for quality, risk management, financial performance, scope management and client satisfaction in all project undertakenLiaise with the client to ensure that agreed designs are in accordance with agreed requirements;Representation at client and professional meetings with the ability to present work and engage in a technical conversations in a professional manner;
