Overview Hire Resolve's client is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join their dynamic team in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in electrical engineering principles and a proven track record in designing, testing, and implementing electrical systems. This role entails developing electrical schematics, conducting feasibility studies, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the development of innovative solutions within a collaborative work environment.
Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain electrical systems for various construction projects, including large water supply pumping systems, sewer and reticulation, treatment plants, and buildings. Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations throughout the project lifecycle. Evaluate system safety, reliability, and performance, making necessary adjustments to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Control and implement electrical systems and products, ensuring installations and applications meet customer needs and safety standards. Perform quality and performance analysis on equipment, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective measures as needed. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to examine requirements for new equipment, calculate costs, and prepare budgets for project implementation. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Registration with the appropriate Engineering Regulatory Body (ERB). Minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience as an Electrical Engineer. Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer on at least 5 projects, with specific expertise in electrical installations for large water supply pumping systems, sewer and reticulation, treatment plants, and buildings. Strong proficiency in designing, testing, and implementing electrical systems. Thorough understanding of industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to electrical engineering in construction. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. Effective communication and teamwork abilities, with a demonstrated capacity to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
