Electrical & Electronic Engineer

Responsible for the specification, design, drawing, testing, and commissioning of electrical and electronic control systems.Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering (or equivalent) Professional registration with ECSA or in the process of being registered Minimum 5 years relevant experience in an Industrial Control Environment Minimum 3 years PLC & DCS programming experience (preferably Schneider Unity Pro software)Minimum 3 years control loop tuning experienceHave a better than average academic record, especially in the fields of Electrical, Instrumentation, and Automatic controlsGood understanding of Thermodynamics and Fluid MechanicsGood understanding of national and international electrical equipment standards & regulationsProficient in Excel and Word with exposure to AutoCAD Electrical and EPlanKey Responsibilities:Assist with the commissioning of electrical equipment, controls, and instrumentationEstimate and prepare proposals for electrical & instrumentation scope of supply for inquiriesDesign of controls and instrumentation, preparation of instrument lists, I/O lists, EFDs, loop drawings, routing diagrams, hook-ups, instrumentation specifications, instrument data sheets, instrument calibrations, procurement, design of control philosophies, analog diagrams, design of PLC cabinets, PLC programming.Design or specify motor control centers, motor lists, cable sizing, cable schedules, I/O list, electrical wiring drawings, routing diagrams, equipment sizing, equipment selection, equipment specifications, equipment data sheets, and procurement.Cold and hot commissioning of commissioning of fans, pumps, AC variable speed drives, burners, oil & gas systems, control valves, boiler automatic controls tuning, and setting up of controls.Operational fault finding of boiler and ancillary equipment control systems.
