Electrical Buyer

Join this established construction firm as an Electrical Buyer in the Electrical and Instrumentation department The company is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Electrical Buyer to be responsible for selecting and purchasing quality products for the projects they work on. Your responsibilities will include processing purchase orders, negotiating with suppliers, tracking orders, creating and maintaining an inventory, quality assurance and liaising with inventory teams and management. The buyer will work with staff across departments to forecast the needs of the business and make purchase decisions based on demand. Buyer Responsibilities: (not exclusive) Purchasing all related material for the Electrical and Instrumentation contracts Deal with the suppliers' lead times and advise accordingly Maintain all purchasing records Buyer Requirements: Qualification in an Electrical field. Relevant experience in a similar position, in procuring electrical components and instrumentation . Excellent computer skills (Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint). Proficient in the appropriate software. Critical thinking and negotiation skills. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. The salary is R29 000 per month, please do not apply if you are already earning more than this
