Electrical Artisan

One of our clients in the Durban South Area are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Artisan with a strong background in PLCs, mechanical knowledge, and very importantly needs to have a wireman's license to complete COC's on prefab buildings. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment, ensuring that all work complies with industry standards and safety regulations.

Qualifications and Skills:

• 5 Years + experience as an Electrical Artisan or similar role in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
• Strong knowledge of PLC programming, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Basic mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with mechanical maintenance teams.
• Valid Wireman's License is compulsory.
• Excellent understanding of electrical systems, wiring, and control panels.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Education and Experience:
• Electrical certification or qualification is required.
• Proven experience in electrical maintenance roles, specifically in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Valid Wireman's License is mandatory.
