Position Summary: EFL Teacher in Malta Teachers facilitate the development of the Life Skills and Academic Skills of the students by engaging the students in conversation and providing feedback that helps them develop their communicative skills.
Key Responsibilities: Establishes a positive learning environment for all learners, ensuring that they feel supported in their learning and able to take risks with language.Creates lessons that are motivating and engaging with a focus on learning and progress.Provides feedback and support that encourages the learners to develop both their language skills and their learning autonomy.Completes all administrative duties in a timely manner.Works on the school team and the teaching team in a professional manner.Takes an active interest in self-development and creates and achieves development goals. Minimum Education Required: TEFL Certificate'A' Level Certificate in English / IB Certificate / TELT CertificateValid ELT Permit Education Desired: CELTA, DELTA, M.A. in TESOL or LinguisticsFlexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced environmentExperience studying or working abroad Organisational Compliance: The job holder will be expected to operate in accordance with the company's Code of Conduct, and any local policies and operating procedures relating to academic, welfare and safeguarding matters.
