Educational Psychologist

The educational and counselling psychologist will form a part of the multi-disciplinary team at Arcadia and Jewish Community Services (JCS).
The purpose of the psychologist will be to provide therapeutic support to clients of Arcadia and JCS including conducting psycho-educational, subject and career assessments, individual therapy, and family therapy.
The incumbent will consult with therapeutic staff across the organization as required and assist HR with EAP sessions as needed.Role and ResponsibilitiesAssessmentsFull Psychoeducational AssessmentsCareer assessments and career counsellingSubject choice assessmentsSchool readiness assessmentsTherapyIndividual therapy with children, teenagers, young adults, and adultsPlay therapyFamily therapyCognitive Behaviour Therapy and Dialectical Behaviour TherapyGroup WorkMultidisciplinary TeamThe psychologist would work in collaboration with social workers from the Chev Community Social Services as well as social workers and child and youth care workers from Arcadia.
