Requirements Relevant 3 – year post-matric / tertiary qualification in the related / specialization field/professionQualification in EducationMinimum five years of teaching experience in related programmesRegistered with SACEComputer literacy in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)Valid driver's license (compulsory) Responsibilities Overseeing the planning and implementation of the academic programme structure through teaching and practical learningResponsible for the quality assurance of education and training, assessment, moderation and examinations within the Department, across campuses, and of Assessment and Examinations activities across campusesResponsible for the planning of assessment and moderation of subjects in conjunction with the Heads of DepartmentResponsible for compiling Academic Board presentations on results and interventions in conjunction with the Assisstant Director: Curriculum Implementation and Programme Manager: Academic SupportProvide administration support for the examination unitResponsible for the planning of training of ICASS and Examination Invigilation per examination cycleOversee human, financial, and other resources in the unitAttend all meetings relevant to the postResponsible for the offering of subject/unit standards as allocated according to the academic planningResponsible for quality education so that the student receives relevant training according to their specific needs related to DHET, community, and industryResponsible for the assessment and moderation of subject/unit standards as allocated according to the academic planning Recommendations Multilingualism will be an advantageKnowledge of the TVET SectorRegistered as an Assessor and or ModeratorPlease Note:Applications must be submitted on the Z83 application form, obtainable from our website, and must be accompanied by a cover letter and updated CV inclusive of three (3) contactable references, copies of all qualifications, and an I.D document. Renumeration R 394 032.00 per annum plus benefits. Benefits include a thirteenth cheque. Membership of the Government Employees Pension Fund (GEPF) is compulsory. Employees may also be eligible to receive a Home owner's housing allowance and the employer's medical aid subsidy. Details regarding the fringe benefits are available on request. Permanent position subject to 12 months probation.
