A private school in the Upper Highway area of KZN is looking to employ an Administrator to look after their Past Pupils Association.
This position requires a person with relevant experience in the Education Sector.
In this role, you are responsible for leading, controlling, and organising initiatives for the PPA.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:•To administer the Past Pupils' Alumnet database and generate reports.
•Ensuring the accuracy and quality of Alumni records and information via research/verification channels.
•Represent the PPA on selected committees and forums.
•Ability to generate PPA content for social media, blog, website, and newsletter distribution.•Assist with the planning and hosting of PPA events and reunions.
•To build and nurture relationships with all Past Pupils, using the designated Alumni software and platforms.•Serve as a liaison with the school Archives (and archivist) in relation to materials and artefacts associated with the Past Pupils.•Assist EXCO, the school Foundation, the school Education Trust & the Marketing Department as needed, in the Alumni relations space.
•Prepare and monitor the PPA budget on an annual basis in conjunction with the Business Manager.•Engage and contribute to enhancing the overall customer experience, fundraising initiatives, and related projects.
•Report to the Foundation Director.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: •Adherence to the Christian Ethos of the School.•Advanced writing, speaking, presenting, and active listening skills.•A Matric Certificate •Positive interpersonal skills and engagement with all stakeholders (Alumni, pupils, parents, and staff).•Excellent planning and organisational abilities.•Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to work as part of a team.•Participate responsibly in school improvement initiatives.•Proficient in English with good verbal and written communication skills.•Familiarity with content management systems, webpage analytics, MS Office, Adobe, CANVA, and other software.•Flexible and able to solve problems creatively.•Adhere to the school code of conduct.
