Early Years Team Leader Based In The Baby Room

Job Title: Room Leader in the Baby Room
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to £24,897.60 per year
Schedule:

Monday to Friday

Location: Lindley, HD3 3EA
Minimum Qualifications: NVQ level 3 in Childcare or equivalent
Experience:

Nursery: 1 year (required)
Childcare: 1 year (required)

Key Responsibilities:

Work in partnership with the Nursery Manager to ensure smooth running of the nursery in line with company policy and Ofsted regulations.
Lead and manage the nursery in the absence of the Nursery Manager.
Use leadership and management skills to support and empower the nursery team.
Ensure the safe, legal, and good practice of the nursery, including attending meetings and dealing with parents.
Assist with all administrative and financial duties associated with children, parents, staff, and the nursery.
Support, deliver, develop, and review practice to ensure high-quality standards of care and education.
Liaise with the Nursery Manager and Head Office team for support.
Be a positive member of the Nursery Management Team and contribute to nursery development.
Lead and support the Key Person role and assist with practitioners' CPD and training.
Understand and implement all performance management policies and procedures.
Assist with planning, organisation, and maintenance of administrative tasks and paperwork.
Understand and adhere to Children's Place Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy.
Take ownership of the environment and ensure resources are well stocked.
Work in partnership with the Nursery Manager to organise and attend out-of-working-hour activities.
Build and support teamwork and partnerships with parents, colleagues, and professionals.
