ENVIRONMENT: Our client, a distinguished provider of cloud Contact Center and CRM solutions in Southern Africa, is seeking to appoint a highly skilled and experienced E-Learning Manager. This critical role involves overseeing the development and delivery of training and product content for cloud solutions. Key responsibilities include researching and selecting appropriate content, designing and organizing course materials, integrating multimedia elements to optimize the user experience, developing the technical aspects of courses, conducting interactive training sessions as needed, and evaluating and reporting on training effectiveness. A tertiary qualification in Communications, Journalism, Technology, or a related field is required. DUTIES: E-Learning Platform Development and Maintenance accountable for creation of appropriate tool, platform and infrastructure to effectively meet objectives. This is likely to be an evolution but long-term vision needs to be balanced with short term wins, and operational realities. This role demands ability to create the vision but deliver soon targeting biggest wins in current reality, whilst moving towards the vision progressively. E-Learning Structure Development and Maintenance identify training topics based on biggest wins, prioritise, group into logical areas (Knowledge Base for Support, Training Courses for Onboarding, AI Content for Self Service etc) and develop and maintain a structure for all customer and internal content that supports product adoption and growth customer growth, and ultimately sales. E-Learning Content Development develop all required content as identified above by actively using the product, engaging experts, testing, learning and training both staff and customers. Content is likely to be a combination of visual (video) and written (how tos) that can be easily accessed by customers and support staff to increase product knowledge, reduce support requests and drive adoption. Critical Cross Team Collaboration work across teams to create the best, accurate content with the greatest longevity Training Delivery conduct online/remote Training Sessions for new customers in the Onboarding Process covering all aspects of the solution training required prior to Go Live. Training Revenue Management whilst driving training billing is not a KPI, this role does require management of Training Time and ensuring that training hours are adhered to, and any additional training is invoiced appropriately. Sales and Marketing develop Sales Demonstrations and delivery these in sales meetings when required. REQUIREMENTS: Qualifications Required Tertiary Education can be in Communications/Journalism/Technology Qualifications Advantageous Technical Writing Certification Content Development Certification Experience and Skills required Technical Writing experience demonstrated ability to study technology and develop clear, accessible material (manuals, user guides, videos) for users Strong instructional design skills ability to create accurate, effective and engaging content Content Creation Tools strong applied knowledge of various content creation tools, together with formatting, and design skills Strong technical interrogation and content development skills ability to write and create content for technical applications (SAAS) solutions Strong Software Applications skills ability to learn Software Apps and translate learning into training content. Strong vision to execution skills ability to analyse, identify solutions, and then translate to execution through action plans/project management/program management that is systematically executed through application and consistency Self-Learning and Curiosity ability self-teach through analysis, practice and application Training Delivery skills confidence and ability to present training course (online or face to face) to audiences ranging from users to managers and decision makers. Sales Demonstration skills confidence and ability to present demonstrations of technology solutions to potential customers in the sales process. Whilst this role is not responsible for sales targets, sales demonstrations and solution capabilities will form part of the Content Creation and Delivery mandate, and therefore the ability to confidently present and demonstrate product demonstrations is included in this role.
