Responsibilities:Shopify management and optimisation:I oversee all aspects of the Shopify platform, including product merchandising and assortment, front-end management, and speed and integration optimisation. Utilise e-commerce sales psychology to optimise the customer journey, minimising clicks and maximising conversions through strategically placing buttons, calls to action, and other elements.Paid media and CRM expertise:Develop and execute comprehensive paid media campaigns (Google Ads, social media) to drive traffic and revenue, set target audiences, and maximise ROI. Manage customer database and CRM initiatives to nurture relationships, personalise communication, and encourage repeat purchases. Craft compelling product and campaign copywriting that is fun, witty, professional, and persuasive.Digital marketing and analytics:Oversee digital marketing efforts, including Meta visibility and ads, G4 Analytics, social media shops, Google My Business, AdWords, Google Shop, and review management. Integrate digital channels to create a cohesive customer experience and maximise reach. Analyse data and reports to identify trends, optimise campaigns, and drive sales growth.Content and creative direction:Collaborate with the content creator to develop product videos and other creative assets that support e-commerce goals. Provide creative input and direction on media needs to ensure alignment with the brand's visual identity.Additional:Manage shipping policies and systems. Ensure product descriptions, tags, and images are optimised for quality and loading speed. Maintain a keen eye for detail and accuracy in all aspects of e-commerce management.Qualifications:Proven track record in managing e-commerce platforms, preferably Shopify, with demonstrated success in driving revenue growth. In-depth understanding of paid media channels, bidding strategies, audience targeting, and performance optimisation. Expertise in CRM software, email marketing, customer segmentation, personalisation, and automation. Strong copywriting skills, with the ability to craft compelling and persuasive content for product descriptions and campaigns. Experience with data analysis tools (Google Analytics, etc.) and reporting. Excellent communication and project management skills. Passion for the Stellies brand and values.Bonus points:Familiarity with the South African e-commerce landscape.
