About You As a planner, you'll be the mastermind behind keeping our shelves stocked with the right products at the right time!
You'll dive into sales data like a detective, making smart buy-in decisions that maximise profit and keep risks at bay.
Teaming up with our ace account managers, you'll ensure we've always got just enough stock to meet demand – no more, no less!
You're the crucial link between our sales, procurement, and warehouse squads, tracking the performance of current products and helping steer the ship on what to order next.
With your forecasting skills, you'll make sure we're always ahead of the game, keeping shelves full, prices right, and our risk levels low.

Spot-on stock management that powers the business to success!
Responsibilities: Stock Management: Analysing warehouse stock to ensure that we purchase the right stock at the right time.
Monitoring short-dated & aged stock to ensure that we sell out before creating risk for the business.
Strategise with AM's to clear dormant warehouse stock.
Liaising with various departments to pinpoint areas of improvement for optimum overall stock management.
Buy-in Proposals: Using all relevant insights gained from stock management and forecasting to submit buy-in proposals to the relevant stakeholders.
Overseeing and when necessary assisting with the deal loading process to implement a buy-in.
Communicating all relevant information of a buy-in to relevant stakeholders to make an informed decision when approving a buy-in. Communicating approved buy-ins to the procurement teams to implement. Reporting: Analyse warehouse stock and relaying all relevant information to relevant stakeholders. Monitor and report on important changes in stock forecasts and sales strategies implemented to relevant stakeholders.
Prepare for bi-weekly and monthly reports to share with relevant stakeholders. Budget tracking of each division to ensure we are within budget.
Sales tracking every week to ensure we are hitting relevant stock targets.
Mentor: Providing technical direction to planning assistants. Managing the Planning division communication internally.
Traffic manages buy-in proposals and adheres to strict deadlines. Monitoring assistant's progress to ensure the quality of proposals and deals are according to company standards. Experience and Qualifications : Tertiary qualification (preferably Bcom Degree).
At least 3 years of experience in a planning environment.
Sound analytical, organising, multitasking, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work under pressure.
Resilience is a value that you strongly align yourself with.
Competency in all computer packages, i.e.
Excel (advanced), PowerPoint, Internet.
Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
