Purpose of the role : The E-Commerce Manager will lead the hotels online sales strategy, digital marketing, social media, and website initiatives to strengthen its online presence, boost direct and online bookings, and maximize revenue. This role demands a strong knowledge of E-Commerce platforms, digital marketing, social media, and the hospitality industry. Criteria: Accreditation in Marketing | E-Commerce | Business Administration Proven track record in e-commerce marketing, ideally within the hospitality industry Proficiency with Opera, OTAs, and channel management tools Strong marketing skills in PPC, social media, and email campaigns Analytical ability for metrics tracking and data-driven decisions Effective collaborator with sales, marketing, and revenue teams Familiarity with Meta platforms and social media strategy Content creation and design for website, social media, and promotional materials Customer experience optimization across booking platforms Local business partnership development Excellent proficiency in the English language Excellent computer literacy KPIs : (responsibilities include but are not limited to): Direct booking revenue percentage vs. OTAs Average Daily Rate (ADR) in relation to direct bookings Return on Advertising Spend (ROAS) for campaigns Email engagement rates (opens, clicks, conversions) Proficiency in online booking platforms and channel managers Success rate of Opera rate promotions Occupancy rate tracking and alignment with pricing strategies Voucher issuance, redemption, and SOP compliance Meta advertising performance metrics (reach, engagement, conversion) Candidates who meet the criteria as set out above, and who will be resident in close proximity to the Helderberg area at the time of appointment, are invited to apply for this position.
