E-Commerce Manager

Our client is a leading supplier of high-quality home furnishings and decor for both the local and international market. What started in 1987 as a humble Cape Town showroom has since grown into 19 showrooms nationwide, with more on the way, as well as a thriving online store.They have an exciting opportunity for a seasoned E-commerce Manager to lead their client's e-commerce store. The successful candidate will be based at their head office in Bellville.MAIN DUTIES:Implement and manage e-commerce strategy.Continuously develop and optimise the e-commerce platform.Achieve e-commerce sales targets.Report and analyse e-commerce platform performance.Manage the e-commerce team.REQUIREMENTS:Degree or accredited qualification in e-commerce, business, or related field.Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role, managing and driving an e-commerce platform in a retail environment.Expert knowledge and in-depth experience with the Shopify platform.Luxury brand experience is an advantage.Strong understanding of website design, development, and tracking.Ability to interpret web analytics and reporting, and knowledge of how to improve these metrics.Strong strategy development experience.Ability to manage and motivate a team.Ability to drive cross-functional collaboration.ESSENTIAL SKILLS & BEHAVIOURS:Results-driven.Customer-centric.Accountable.Decisive and able to prioritise.Excellent time management and ability to thrive under pressure.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Negotiation and influencing skills.A competitive salary package, consisting of a basic salary and company benefits, is on offer. If you are interested in the position and meet the requirements, we would love to hear from you!
