E-commerce Manager (Mid-level) - Sportsmans Warehouse
Join our dynamic team as we lead the way in sports retail and e-commerce space in South Africa. Reporting to the Head of Digital, you will play a pivotal role in executing our digital strategies, management of our e-commerce platform and ensuring a seamless omni-channel experience across our physical and digital commerce.
Responsibilities:
Digital Strategy Execution:
Execute the Sportmans Warehouse Digital Strategy, aligning with the company's business objectives
Provide input for strategic direction of our digital presence, ensuring a consistent and compelling customer experience across all channels
E-commerce Excellence:
Day to day management of our e-commerce platform including monitoring of systems, analytics and sales data
Project management of all platform development, including new features and support
Management of content teams and studio
Drive initiatives to enhance mobile-first engagement, traffic, and conversion rates.
Digital Marketing:
Collaborate with all marketing and merchandise teams to ensure our platform stays up to date with class-leading digital marketing capabilities
Suggest and implement digital marketing platform improvements as and when required to
Data-Driven Insights:
Utilize various Business Intelligence tools (Power BI, Google Looker, Google Analytics etc.) to analyse data and derive actionable insights
Drive data-driven decision-making processes to enhance overall digital performance
Reporting on all aspects of e-commerce platform performance and digital marketing initiatives
Customer Service and Logistics:
Assist with escalated technical customer support as needed
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a digital e-commerce management role
Proven track record of successfully managing omnichannel e-commerce strategies.
Extensive experience with relevant enterprise e-commerce platforms
Extensive ERP - Ecommerce integration experience
Background in digital marketing, including paid, organic, email, and SEO strategies.
Experienced in the use of Business Intelligence tools such as Google Analytics, Power BI and Google Lookr.
Excellent leadership and project management skills.
Innovative mindset with a passion for staying abreast of industry trends.
