E-Commerce Inbound ManagerAn established wine farm and hospitality business in the Boland area is looking to appoint an E-Commerce Inbound Manager to manage the incoming stock at the company's warehouse in Midrand, Gauteng. It will be a fast-paced, innovative and performance-driven environment which will suit someone who is self-driven, detail orientated, looks to find solutions, and has the self-confidence to make decisions independently and escalate matters when necessary. The company is hyper-focused on the customer experience; this drives every decision, process and task.The successful person will join the company's dynamic team in the Midrand warehouse and must be quality focused and solution oriented with experience in process management, warehousing, supply chain management and/or logistics, ideally within an e-commerce environment.A passion for process management, efficiency, and product quality, with strong attention to detail and excellent project management skills, are essential to succeed in this position. The person will be responsible for managing a small to medium team of warehouse staff.Duties & ResponsibilitiesOversee the stock inbound process and related daily operations.Receive fresh produce, frozen stock, ambient stock and packaging materials.Perform incoming inspection on all items.Monitor product quality and cold chain throughout the inbound process.Oversee storage and warehousing.Coordinate stock control operations, enforcing FEFO principles and accurate inventory management.Stock waste management.Enforce basic food hygiene and safety measures.Ensure timely replenishment of fine picking stock.Manage the warehouse team and inbound drivers.Liaise with the procurement team.Develop and implement standard operating procedures.Desired Experience & QualificationTertiary qualification in a relevant field such as supply chain management, logistics, engineering, or project management.At least three years' experience in production, supply chain management, logistics and/or e-commerce.Experience in staff management.Demonstrate a target-oriented and performance-driven attitude.Possess the ability to work productively, efficiently and effectively, with initiative and drive under tight timescales and pressure, whilst maintaining attention to detail and excellence.Ability to adapt to and implement change effectively.Sustained high energy levels.Fluent in Afrikaans and English, with exceptional writing and communication skills.A creative approach to solving day-to-day challenges.A strong sense of ambition.Package & RemunerationMarket related
