Based in Sandton and reporting into the NSO Director, the successful incumbent will be responsible to provide a specialised aftersales consulting, service, impart coaching, expertise and actively drive interventions within the Ducati Dealer Network to ensure the achievement of the strategic Aftersales objectives
Possible Tasks within this Role Set regional dealer wholesale and retail target and through effective sales management practices ensure that approved targets are achieved, through all sector of the dealership workshop, trade and counter.Implementing a sales incentive package designed to maximize profitability and achieve sales target.Continuously review inventory level, identify potential risks and discuss concerns with the necessary department Senior Management, to implement the corrective action plan.Monitor dealer trading practices to ensure that dealer profitability and Ducati Brand image are maintained.Monitor competitor sales activity and implement changes in market conditions with the purpose of achieving sales targets.Analyze and assist the dealer in developing an annual achievable business plan, incorporating the necessary facilities, personnel requirements and other resources necessary to ensure that the dealer meets all franchise requirements and monitor corrective action are implemented where necessary.Ensure the dealer is fully operational in respect to all available electronic systems ETKA.
ET2000, PartnerNET and implement necessary training where needed.Develop and maintain a good understanding of the respective markets within the contest of the SA Motorcycle industry (penetration, segmentation, pricing, competitor activity, trading methodologies, product strategies), to assist the company management and dealers in their strategic planning.Identify specific marketing opportunities to enhance Dealer Awareness and SalesEnsure that the dealer supports all the company Programmes, specifically in the purchase and sales of genuine parts and accessories, and training.Facilitate the relationship between dealership and the company by attending Dealer Council Meeting, Regional Managers Meeting, and handle conflicts arising between dealers, to ensure that all business is conducted with the company vision and values at the core.Qualification, Experience and Knowledge: Bachelor degree / Diploma in Marketing or Commerce / Mechanical Engineering3 – 5 years' experience in a Sales or After-Sales marketing environment or Parts environmentParts and technical knowledgeUnderstanding of financial principlesMust have a good knowledge of the Dealer OrganizationExperience in computer systemsUnderstanding of advertising principles would be an advantageCore Skills NeededAbility to manage at a strategic levelAbility to listen and communicate effectively at all levelsAbility to negotiate, and have natural leadership and motivational skillsAbility to think innovativelySelf-starting abilityAbility to operate independentlyPassion for the automotive retail / marketing environmentShould you wish to apply please submit your CV through for consideration.
