A desktop publishing operator or designer is responsible for translating a brief to art files ready to go to print or be placed online. A DTP operator is usually skilled in multiple computer design applications, particularly in the Adobe CS suite of products. As a designer, you must be able to come up with creative solutions to monthly campaigns and other printing paraphernalia.Must be able to create retail catalogues using page layout software (InDesign). Generate ads, POS elements, general printing paraphernalia, and artwork for social media.
