Introduction: The main purpose of the job is to provide safe, prompt and efficient delivery service to all the stores clients and to ensure that all items are delivered without breakages and shortage Description: Delivering goods to customers efficiently and quickly Ensuring the vehicle is neatly packed daily and on time Preventing damages and breakages at all times Supervising and assisting packing, loading and off-loading of materials · Ensuring that daily inspection checks are done to the vehicle by reference to checklist provided · Reporting any defects to supervisor Ensuring vehicle is washed and cleaned regularly Ensuring that the correct quantities of goods/materials are supplied to the correct address Reducing running costs on vehicles by combining trips in the same direction · Ensuring that all delivery notes are signed by the authorized person and filed Collecting COD monies and hand the correct amount to the person responsible Assisting with serving customers in the yard when not out on deliveries Requirements: Grade 12 Code 10 (HV); Code 8 (LV) ( 2 years relevant experience
