Draughtsman

Duties & ResponsibilitiesReading of various drawings and ability to convert it into a Solidworks package.Schedule assignments and communicate details to all individuals in the CAD department.Participate in all Production meetings.Generate complex drawings in Solidworks according to specifications.Do follow up checks on completed drawings.Create Data Packages.Create cutting files.Understand the bending, laser, machining and welding procedures.Use of all measuring tools.Liaison with quality department.Identifying various components with regard to drawings.Make adjustments on drawings as required from other departments.Desired Experience & QualificationMatric with Technical Drawings as a subject.Solidworks (Sheet Metal) experienceAutocad experience.Excellent written and verbal communication skillsCompetency in Microsoft applications including word, excel, and outlook.Experience in using Measuring Equipment like Tape Measure/VernierSigmanest experience.
