This contract role offers the opportunity to work on large-scale, heavy fabrication projects in a dynamic and innovative environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop detailed 2D and 3D engineering drawings using Autodesk Inventor.Translate engineering designs into precise, high-quality drawings for heavy fabrication.Collaborate with project engineers to ensure designs meet specifications and industry standards.Create detailed assemblies, component, and fabrication drawings specific to industrial plant components.Liaise with suppliers, fabricators, and contractors to ensure feasibility and manufacturability.Review and update drawings based on engineering feedback and project requirements.Maintain compliance with company drafting standards and ensure documentation accuracy.Support project teams with design modifications and technical calculations as needed.Qualifications and ExperienceEducation: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Draughting, or related field.Experience: At least 5 years experience in draughting for minerals processing, heavy fabrication, or industrial plant projects.Technical Skills:Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor for 2D and 3D modelling.Strong knowledge of heavy fabrication processes and materials.Familiarity with industry standards for minerals processing plant design.Key Attributes: Exceptional attention to detail, proactive problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities to work effectively with teams and clients.
