Draftsman

Our client is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draftsman to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD and a strong background in sheet metal design. This role requires a creative individual who can translate complex concepts into precise technical drawings and contribute to the development of innovative poultry equipment.Key Responsibilities:Create detailed technical drawings and plans using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD.Develop and design sheet metal components and assemblies for poultry equipment.Collaborate with engineers and product designers to ensure accurate representation of design concepts.Review and modify designs to meet project specifications and manufacturing requirements.Maintain and update drawing files and documentation.Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.Assist in the development of prototypes and production-ready designs.Provide technical support and guidance to the manufacturing team during the production process.Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.Qualifications:Relevant qualification Proven experience as a Draftsman, preferably in the manufacturing industry.Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD.Strong understanding of sheet metal design and fabrication processes.Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in drafting and designMonday - Friday: 07.30 am - 16.30 pm Remuneration: R15 000 - R35 000 monthly (Subject to proven experience)**Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted**
